What we do with what we know about you
Privacy Policy
Here's the thing: Packuro was designed around the idea that privacy is super important and no one should have the power to delete your stuff or know your morning bathroom ritual.
At this point, we only gather a minimal amount of data:
- When you visit Packuro.com, we use Google Analytics to collect basic usage data to track where traffic is coming from and how the site is being used.
- When you first install Packuro, we save your operating system (Windows, Mac or Linux), the city/state/zip/country where you installed the software, and an anonymous fingerprint of your computer.
This helps us know where in the world people are using our software without compromising their anonymity.
- When Packuro pings our servers for an auto update, a similar payload as above is sent over to keep track of how often the software is being used. Again, no personal identification included.
Beyond that, we don't know who you are, what your age/gender/political preference is, or what you're doing with Packuro. There's no in-app analytics to track usage, and we have no way of
seeing what you've packed nor any way of deleting/censoring it. And believe me... that's very much on purpose. Enjoy :D
